On days like this, you are bound to crave hot soup.

I was planning to stop by Shinbayashi Shokudo to eat ramen, but
It was already sold out because it was released too late.
I changed my plans and remembered the Ongsimi nearby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a very popular place, to the point where people run in or have to wait in line.
I arrived a little past lunchtime and found the seats empty.
It is a small store consisting of a few tables and standing seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buckwheat kimchi pancakes and shredded potato pancakes also stand out.
I ordered Ongsimi buckwheat noodles.
Since I was there, I wanted to eat buckwheat kalguksu and ongsimi together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barley rice served like an appetizer.
Add young radish, raw radish salad, gochujang, and sesame oil, then mix well.
My preference is lots of young radish greens and a little shredded radish salad, lots of sesame oil and a little gochujang.

I don't particularly prefer gochujang bibimbap, but it appears like a standard at kalguksu restaurants.
Yeolmu bibimbap is exceptionally heartwarming and delicious.
I already feel reassured even before the main course comes out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking a spoonful of the broth first, it feels nice and warm.

The starch from the noodles and ongsimi melts out, making it thick, but
The refreshing coolness of the broth cuts through the richness of the soup and reveals its presence.

Korean \ub1e8<\/span>The potato ongsimi had a distinct chewiness from the potatoes rather than the flour.
The buckwheat kalguksu was tastier than expected; I wonder if you make your own noodles?
The noodles were really delicious, with a rich nutty buckwheat aroma and just the right amount of cooking.
I recommend the menu that comes with buckwheat noodles rather than just Ongsimi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At other tables, buckwheat kimchi pancakes and shredded potato pancakes are popular as side dishes.
It's a shame I couldn't order it because I came alone.
I am too full just from the Ongsimi buckwheat noodle soup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is truly a carbohydrate party.
It's a shame that there isn't enough protein to chew, but
On a cold day like this, fill your stomach with hearty carbohydrates.
Taking a nap with a blood sugar spike might not be so bad.

For 10,000 won, the set includes buckwheat kalguksu, ongsimi, and barley rice, which is excellent.
