Evening of the first day in Yangpyeong.
We toured Jipyeong Brewery, passed through Dumulmeori, and came back over to Yongmun.
It was an evening when the sun was still out, and that evening was Yongmun Original Neungiboseot Gukbap<\/span>It was decided as.
Although it is called mushroom soup with rice, it is closer to a course meal or a mushroom set meal that includes mushroom hot pot.

The place we entered is the East Wing next to the Annex.
The words "Neungiboseot Gukbap" are written in large red letters on every window.
The annex is right next door, but I couldn't check if the door was open or closed.
The annex is very old, and judging by the fact that the owner is in the east wing, it seems like this is the only place currently in operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interior is simple with wooden walls and fluorescent lights.
A framed photo of mushrooms taken in the mountains hangs on the wall.
Mushrooms attached in layers to a mossy tree, mushrooms growing on a fallen tree.
The owner was a ginseng hunter. It was fascinating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neungi is a mushroom that is still virtually difficult to cultivate artificially.
\nUnlike shiitake or oyster mushrooms, because they grow by forming a relationship with oak tree roots,
\nMost commercially available Neungi mushrooms are wild, harvested directly from the mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a side dish counter near the entrance.
Three kinds of pickled chili peppers, deeply ripened pickled leaves, and napa cabbage kimchi are placed whole, and
Water, side dishes, and even alcohol are all self-service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The menu consists entirely of a single sheet of handwritten paper attached to the wall.
Mushroom Hot Pot or Mushroom Rice Soup with Medicinal Herb Rice: 15,000 won per person, minimum order of 2 people.
Add-ons are Kalguksu 4,000 won, Herbal Rice 10,000 won, Soup 10,000 won, and four sheets of seaweed 1,000 won.
Adding 150g of meat costs 15,000 won, and adding vegetables costs 8,000 won.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The top of the wall is occupied by a broadcast frame.
The Three Great Kings, Baekban Gihang, Live Broadcast Tonight, Delicious Guys, Live Broadcast Today.
There were many from 2017 to 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The setting is complete once the side dishes brought are placed on the table.
A soy sauce bottle and a container of roasted salt are placed together on the table.
The broth is mildly seasoned, so you can adjust the taste with salt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first thing served was mushroom soup.
If added to the basic configuration, an additional 10,000 won is charged.
The soup served in an earthenware pot was milky white, thick, and full of finely chopped mushrooms.
When you take a spoonful right after it comes out and is hot, the rich cream and mushroom flavors come through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drinks are self-service, so I took a bottle out of the refrigerator.
Yangpyeong Yongmunsan Ginkgo Makgeolli, 750mL, 5% alcohol, 5,000 won per bottle.
The color is bright yellow.
It is fascinating how the ginkgo aroma is distinct and a sharp, pungent taste lingers in the aftertaste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wanted to stop by the brewery that made this makgeolli that day as well.
It remains a regret that I ultimately could not go after receiving a reply that it would be difficult to visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A hot pot packed with vegetables, including mushrooms and pumpkin.
You can cook the accompanying beef like shabu-shabu.
I don't really like the expression "healthy taste." It sounds unappetizing...
The clean vegetable broth and the umami of the mushrooms were good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After scooping out and eating the hot pot for a while, mushroom rice is served.
\nThe rice cooked in a brass bowl is thickly covered with chives and whole sesame seeds.
\nThe table felt much more substantial as I stuck the wooden spatula in it and brought it over just as it was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you drizzle sesame oil and mix it, the aroma spreads widely.
Whole shiitake mushrooms and enoki mushrooms come out mixed in between the grains of rice,
Pieces of scorched rice scraped up from the bottom are chewed here and there.
It is savory, chewy, and salty.
As expected, the dopamine from carbohydrates is the best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although it bears the name "Gukbap" (rice soup) restaurant, it is actually closer to a mushroom course.
Starting with soup, going through hot pot, and ending with mushroom rice,
If you want, you can even add kalguksu, so you end up eating mushrooms until you get sick of them.
Actually, towards the end, you might get a little tired of the mushrooms... since you can eat them until you do.
It's hard to call it a downside, but it feels more like the unique character of this place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

35,000 won for two people, including a bottle of makgeolli.
Considering the condition and quantity of the mushrooms, the price is quite generous.
When I was paying, they gave me some cash again to buy coffee... lol. It's a unique shop.
You can tell right from the ingredients that this is a shop run by a ginseng hunter who digs them up directly from the mountains.
It is a 2-minute walk from Yongmun Station, so it is not a burden to go there and back by train.
I enjoyed the meal \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n
