National Buyeo MuseumIt is a place that compiles artifacts from the Sabi period of Baekje, and admission is free.
The highlight is by far the best. National Treasure Baekje Gilt-bronze Incense BurnerC. This incense burner, excavated from the Neungsan-ri temple site in 1993, is a gilt bronze masterpiece 61.8 cm in height, and its sculptural beauty, featuring layers of dragons, phoenixes, five musicians, and immortals, is overwhelming.
The exhibition hall consists of four permanent exhibition rooms, and a media show highlighting the history of Baekje is held in the central hall every hour on the hour.
The museum building itself is a sight to behold. With exhibition halls arranged around a central plaza, visitors can move around indoors while enjoying ample natural light. There is also a stone sculpture garden behind the building, making it worth a visit for a stroll.

Take the express bus bound for Buyeo from Seoul Central City (Honam Line) → Get off at Buyeo Bus Terminal (approx. 2 hours). It is about a 15-minute walk from the terminal or a 5-minute taxi ride (basic fare). Since it is within walking distance of major historical sites in downtown Buyeo, it is convenient to use the museum as your starting point and walk around.
Jeongnimsa Temple Five-story Stone Pagoda


Jeongnimsa Temple Five-story Stone PagodaIt is one of the two existing Baekje stone pagodas, National Treasure No. 9It is the starting point of the history of Korean stone pagodas, designated as such. Erected in the center of the Sabi capital, this 8.33m tall granite pagoda has stood in one spot for over 1,400 years.
It is characterized by sharply upturned eaves and thin, neat steps, as if the structure of a wooden building has been transferred to stone. Traces of the victory records carved by the Tang Dynasty general Su Dingfang on the body of the pagoda after the fall of Baekje in 660 still remain, thus embracing even the history of its downfall.
At the Jeongnimsa Temple Site Museum located within the grounds, visitors can view the status of the temple site excavation and excavated artifacts. It is about a 10-minute walk from the Buyeo National Museum, and since the Gwanbuk-ri Archaeological Site is located right nearby, it is convenient to visit both together.
In addition to the pagoda, there is also a seated stone Buddha statue from the Goryeo Dynasty. It is known that the Goryeo style is clearly discernible in the facial features, so it is interesting to compare them.

Busosanseong Fortress & Nakwaam Rock

Busosanseong FortressIt was the last mountain fortress of Baekje that guarded the north of the capital city of Sabi, UNESCO World Heritage Baekje Historic AreasIt is included in.
The entire Busosan Mountain, 106m above sea level, is surrounded by a fortress wall, and within the mountain, various historical sites such as Nakwaam, Goransa Temple, Sajalu, and Baekhwajeong are connected by forest paths.
The highlight of the Sanseong course is NakwaamIt is a rock steeped in legend, which says that when Baekje fell to the Silla-Tang allied forces in 660, three thousand court ladies threw themselves from this cliff into the Baekma River.
Nakwaam 아래 고란사 선착장에서 황포돛배를 타면 강 위에서 절벽을 올려다볼 수 있는데, 이쪽 각도에서 본 낙화암이 특히 인상적이라는 평이 많다. 배를 타고 구드래 선착장까지 이동하는 코스도 인기 있다.

Gudrae Sculpture Park & Gudrae Ferry Terminal

Built along the Baekmagang River Gudrae Sculpture ParkIt is a great place to walk along the riverside enjoying the breeze after a stroll through Busosanseong Fortress. In spring, cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and a refreshing view unfolds toward Gyuam across the river.
Works by domestic and international sculptors are displayed outdoors within the park. Although the number of pieces is not large, they are arranged so that you naturally encounter them while walking along the riverside path, making them easy to enjoy.
황포돛배 구드래 선착장이 이곳에 있어, 고란사에서 배를 타고 이곳으로 내려오는 코스와 연결된다.
Gudrae Sculpture Park

부소산성 서문 방면으로 내려오면 도보 5분. 부여 버스터미널에서 도보 약 20분, 택시 5분. 구드래 선착장과 붙어 있어 황포돛배 이용 시 자연스레 방문하게 된다.
Gungnamji
GungnamjiIt is the first artificial pond in Korea recorded in the Samguk Sagi. It is a garden created south of the royal palace in 634 during the reign of King Mu of Baekje, and is a historic space that predates Silla's Anapji.
The view from the wooden bridge leading to the central island of the pond is beautiful. The scenery is especially stunning in the summer.
From mid-July to early August, the lotus flowers filling the water surface reach their peak, and during this period, every Seodong Lotus FestivalIt is held. You can see over 20 different varieties of lotus flowers in one place, making it great for taking photos. The spring cherry blossoms and winter snowscapes also have their own unique atmospheres, so you can visit regardless of the season.

It is about a 20-minute walk from Buyeo Bus Terminal and a 10-minute walk from Jeongnimsa Temple Site, making it a neat route if placed at the end of the town center walking course. It is also convenient to use a private car as there is a spacious parking lot.
Neungsanri Ancient Tombs

Located on a low hill to the east of Buyeo-eup Neungsanri Ancient TombsIt is a place presumed to be a group of tombs of Baekje kings during the Sabi period. UNESCO World Heritage Baekje Historic AreasIt is one of the eight locations that make up the.
Seven earthen mounds are lined up on a gentle slope, and walking along the path between the tombs is a quiet experience in itself. The Baekje Gilt-bronze Incense Burner was excavated from the Neungsan-ri temple site right next door.
You can also see the adjacent Naseong Toseong. It is quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place for those who prefer a leisurely trip over a crowded one.
Neungsanri Ancient Tombs

It takes about 10 minutes by car from Buyeo Bus Terminal. Since public transportation runs infrequently, taking a taxi is recommended (approximately 5,000–6,000 won one way). As it is in a different direction from the Baekje Cultural Complex, it is advisable to allocate time for it separately or include it in a trip by car.

If you cross the Geum River from Buyeo-eup to Gyuam-myeon Baekje Cultural ComplexThis complex, developed over 30 years, is a historical theme park that restores the Baekje royal palace and lifestyle culture of the Sabi period to life size.
The Royal Palace Sabi Palace, along with Neungsa Temple, Wiryeseong Fortress, and a Living Culture Village, are spread out across a vast site. Visitors can experience wearing traditional clothing within the complex, and traditional performances are held on weekends.
jointly operated Baekje History and Culture MuseumAt this site, visitors can review the entire history of Baekje through videos and replicas of artifacts before and after entry, making it useful as a supplementary learning space that connects the museum with the outdoor ruins.
Located in Chunghwa-myeon, a 20-minute drive from the Baekje Cultural Complex, is the Seodongyo Theme Park, a filming location for the drama. It is a set recreating a street from the Joseon Dynasty, making it worth a visit for fans of historical dramas.

Take the bus bound for the Baekje Cultural Complex from Buyeo Bus Terminal (approx. 20 minutes). Since buses run infrequently, it is essential to check the timetable before departure. By taxi, the journey takes about 10 minutes and costs approximately 8,000 to 10,000 won. If driving, park in the dedicated parking lot (paid) and then proceed to the complex.
Buyeo outskirts
Cheongjeongdae Baekjebo Observatory

Installed on the Geum River, about 10 km northeast of Buyeo-eup Cheongjeongdae BaekjeboIt is a floating observation deck where you can walk directly on the river.
From the observation tower equipped with an elevator, you can look down at the scenery toward the upper reaches of the Geumgang River, and there are also bicycle paths, walking trails, and convenience stores nearby.
It is a great place to stop by when you are longing for a cool river breeze during a trip to Buyeo. It is particularly well-regarded for the impressive view of the Geumgang River against the sunset in the evening.

Public transportation access from Buyeo Bus Terminal is inconvenient. Using a private vehicle is recommended (approximately 15 minutes by car). A one-way taxi fare is around 10,000 won.
Seongheungsanseong Love Tree

About 15 km south of Buyeo-eup, at the summit of Seongheungsan Mountain in Imcheon-myeon GarimseongThis mountain fortress, built during the reign of King Dongseong in 501, is the only Baekje-era mountain fortress whose exact construction year is confirmed in historical documents.
A zelkova tree approximately 500 years old stands on the ridge at the top of the fortress wall. This tree is the one known on social media. Love treeall.
The two trees form a heart shape as if joined together, making it a pilgrimage site for couples. The sunset over the Naepo Plains unfolding beyond the trees at dusk is a sight that can only be seen here.
You must climb steep stone steps for about 10 minutes from the parking lot to the tree. Since the access road is a very narrow single-lane road, caution is required when driving.
Seongheungsanseong Love Tree (Garimseong)

Using a private vehicle is recommended. It takes approximately 20–25 minutes from Buyeo-eup. Search for 'Seongheungsanseong Sarangnamu Parking Lot' on your navigation system. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the summit (steep stairs). Public transportation runs infrequently, so a private car or taxi is practically essential.
