[Seoul/Airport Market] Cans – Recommended Mexican Lunch Spot at Gimpo Airport

I had to take a plane from Gimpo Airport.
I needed to have lunch before leaving, but for some reason, I didn't feel like eating at a restaurant inside the airport.
Kans is the place I found while searching for a place near Airport Market Station for a quick meal.

73m from Airport Market Station Exit 1.
The red lettering 'KANS' on a yellow awning that stands out even from the alley.
A burrito price list is posted on the exterior wall, and a tequila poster stands side by side next to it.

When you open the door, a yellow wall fills your field of vision.
Industrial light bulbs are lined up one by one on the wooden ceiling, and,
The traditional Mexican fabric pattern draped over the top of the wall gave it a warm and inviting feel.

The sombrero hanging on the wall also adds to the atmosphere,

The menu is simple.

Starting with the Kans Burrito at 5,500 won, followed by Bulgogi, Chicken Burrito,

Chimichanga, tortilla burger, nacho platter.

Tequila shot 3,000 won, Corona 6,000 won.

Chimichanga is 11,000 won and Cans Burrito is 5,500 won.

If you eat Mexican food in Seoul, you usually expect to pay twice as much.

Chimichanga + Cheese Topping (13,500 won)

Chimichanga is a Mexican-style fried burrito.
Nacho cheese and sour cream are drizzled alternately,
It came out topped with tomatoes and lettuce, with a KANS logo flag stuck in it.

If you cut it open, you will see the crispy fried outer shell inside
It is packed with chicken, beef sauce cooked like ragu, and rice.
A rich and full flavor as cheese and sour cream blend together.
The initial plan to eat lightly was already wrong at this point.

The Kans Burrito set comes with a burrito, fried tortillas, cheese dipping sauce, and a drink.
The burrito filling consists of beef, potatoes, and corn.
It contains salsa and mozzarella, so it is not bland and tastes salty.

It is a combination that makes you keep reaching for more when dipped in nacho cheese dip.

I picked Zero Cola for the drink.

The coffee I ordered on a whim was better than I imagined.

One chimichanga, one burrito set, one drip coffee.

We shared it between two people, and the total came to 24,000 won.

I went in intending to have a light meal, but ended up feeling much fuller than I expected.

KansIt is a 1-minute walk from Exit 1 of Airport Market Station.

Even after you get out, you can easily travel to the airport from a nearby bus stop.

If you need a place to eat before using Gimpo Airport, you might want to think of this place first.

At this price for a Mexican burrito, there is plenty of reason to visit again.
