[Jeju / Seongsan] Squid Ramen Without a Signboard – Atmospheric Restaurant on Sinsan-ri Beach Road

The grandmother runs it by herself. There are no separate business days.
They say they open the door on days when they are feeling well.
You must call before you go. Since there aren't really any alternatives nearby, it would be quite a waste to make a wasted trip.

The building is small and old.

The interior consists of nothing but a couple of tables.
There are a few wooden picnic tables set up outdoors as well, and the sight of them lined up along the wall is quite charming.

The name is Squid Ramen, but,
There was no squid when I visited.
He said it seems it won't be released until around June.
Instead, they recommended abalone and clam ramen.

It comes served in a pot. With two whole abalones inside, the 10,000 won price was well worth it.

I don't know exactly what kind of shell went in.
The broth had a spicy yet clean taste with seafood stock added to the ramen soup base.

The kimchi served as a side dish was delicious.
Golden squid is delicious, but as expected, it's expensive.

A basalt breakwater is visible across the way, and,
I like the sea visible beyond it.
Squid hanging on a line, swaying in the wind,
Sound of waves, sea breeze.
It's the atmosphere rather than the taste of the ramen itself.
It is a house that makes things special.
