[Gyeongbuk/Gyeongju] Hehehe – Gyeongju’s best craft beer pub, a famous spot for homemade jambon and sausage currywurst

After finishing the first round at Uigok Charcoal Grill
The place the four of us went to for the second round was Hehehe.
It is a hot craft beer pub in Gyeongju these days.

A red neon 'ㅎㅎㅎ' sign immediately catches the eye in the alley.
It's really cute how they used the store name as the logo.

There are tables and benches outside where you can sit and have a quick meal.
I think it would be nice to have a drink here when the weather is good.

The interior, featuring orange accents on exposed concrete, is stylish.
Even though it was crowded, it wasn't noisy and the air was comfortable.
It feels like a hangout for beer lovers.

There are 14 tabs.
Hehehe, from in-house beer to domestic craft,
There is a good mix of German Weizen and Japanese Lager.

There is a separate small snack bar area inside.
You can take out bottled beer and snacks.

Hehehe, our own brand beer and imported craft beer are mixed together in one refrigerator.
Time flies just by looking around.

The first drinks were Hoppy Lager, Chekhchri, and one each for the four of us.
I think I ordered Sculpin too.
(I drank too much so my memory is hazy..)

Handmade jambon made directly in the store.
It is perfect as a beer snack if you top it with a little whole grain mustard.

Jambon is the French word for ham.
It is made by salting and cooking a pig's hind leg.
If you sandwich it in a baguette with butter, it becomes jambon beurre.

Currywurst topped generously with curry sauce over homemade sausage.
Both the jambon and the sausage are delicious.
Even though we had already eaten the first round, the plate was empty quickly.

In 1949, Hertha Hoiber [made] a sauce by mixing ketchup and curry powder
The prevailing theory is that it started when it was poured over sausages and sold.

Finishing off with two glasses of dark beer.
Tamra Ale's Hotteok (Imperial Stout 8.5%) and
Hehehe's Hug (Stout 7.0%), 10,000 won each.
As for the taste... it was so long ago that I don't remember.

It is said that Hug added nitrogen to make the texture soft.
Nitrogen does not dissolve as well in water as carbonic acid, so the bubbles become small and dense.
Thanks to that, it has a creamy texture.

Good beer, atmospheric interior, and even a comfortable atmosphere.
I think I know why it's popular these days.
A place that gives me a strong feeling that I have come to the space I wanted.
Highly recommended if you go to Gyeongju.
