[Jeju / Hallim] Jeju Beer Brewery – Docent-led Craft Beer Brewing Experience

10 minutes by car from Geumneung Beach.
At the end of the road that looks like an industrial complex Jeju Beer BreweryThere is.
I booked a docent tour in advance via Naver Reservation.

Upon arrival, a massive silo comes into view.
A giant beer glass sign catches the eye.

The third floor had a spacious area with a merchandise shop and a taproom together.

From the beer brewing process to the meaning of the logo,
Explanation of beer tanks and ingredients, etc.
The docent gives a good explanation.
In the ingredients description, Evian and Samdasu
I also felt the difference between hard and soft water while doing a comparative tasting.
They provided hop pellets, so I smelled them.

They gave a total of three quizzes in between the explanations.
If you get the answer right, you will receive a special beer tasting coupon.

After the explanation was over, I received the sampler.

In order, Jeju Nouveau, Jeju Lager, Under 15M, Jeju Wit
Jeju Nouveau, which is a non-alcoholic beer.
The opinion that it seems to be the best, surprisingly.
The citrusy scent of tangerine zest was appealing.

On the other hand, I think the other lineups fall a bit short of appealing to craft beer enthusiasts.
The strongest style is like Hoegaarden
It's Belgian wit style.
Since it is a style focused on popularity and drinkability
Like an IPA, Porter, or Stout
Representing craft beer
able to showcase the brewery's unique character
It's a shame there isn't any beer of this style.

This is a blueberry stout I got for answering a quiz correctly.
The blueberry scent hitting the nose from the glass is attractive.
The alcohol content is 12%, but for a stout
The very light drinking quality might be a matter of personal preference.

It took about an hour and 10 minutes to finish the tour, including the tasting, but I got up a little early because of my next schedule.

I think about an hour and a half should be enough.
