[Gyeonggi/Yangpyeong] Yangpyeong Livestock Cooperative Hanwoo Plaza – Direct Sales Outlet for Hanwoo from the Clear Waters of Yangpyeong, a Famous Beef Restaurant

Last day of the Yangpyeong itinerary.
I decided to have the famous Hanwoo beef from Yangpyeong for my last meal.
While looking for a store that carries Yangpyeong's local brand, Mulmalgeun Yangpyeong Hanwoo,

It is a 5-minute drive from Yangpyeong Station.

We are using the entire four-story building.
The store and restaurant are in the same building.

A banner advertising regular meals is hanging next to the entrance.

When I looked it up beforehand, there were many posts saying that it was fine to come just to eat rice instead of grilled food.

The store opens at 10 o'clock, and the restaurant opens at 11 o'clock.
Last admission is at 8:30 PM.
On Tuesdays, the store is also closed.

Yangpyeong Hanwoo is known as 'Clear Water Yangpyeong Hanwoo'
It is distributed as a local brand.

Only the cow that received this name can be given this name.

The 3rd floor is a self-service restaurant, and the 4th floor is a charcoal grill specialty restaurant.
If it is difficult to pick out the meat, it is fine to eat the selected meat on the 4th floor.
We went up to the third floor.

The table setting is 6,000 won per adult.
Since the price of meat is the same as the selling price downstairs
In practical terms, it amounts to the cost of the seat plus the side dishes.
The 150g beef sashimi for 30,000 won also caught my eye.

The hall was empty as it was well past lunchtime.
Thanks to that, I can comfortably take a window seat.

The label even shows the slaughterhouse and breeding location.
The breeding site is Gaegun-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun.

From flank steak to sirloin and brisket on one plate

A decent selection of side dishes

Place the garlic first, then place the flank steak on top as the first piece.

Beef always tastes good.

They also grilled sirloin for me.

I ordered a small soybean paste stew separately in the middle. 3,000 won.
Taking a spoonful between the meats makes my mouth feel refreshed.
It is on the milder side, neither spicy nor salty.

Lastly, thick-sliced brisket.
The marbling is fine and evenly spread.
Since it is thick, bake it slowly on both sides.

With a simple drink on the side, the bill came out to about 100,000 won.
I am satisfied because I got to taste Hanwoo at the source at a reasonable price for Hanwoo.
It is a shame that I couldn't eat the Hanwoo soup, the signature dish on the 3rd floor, because I was too full.
