[Gyeongnam/Hadong] Seomjingang Hanwoo Black Pork Restaurant – Beef and Yukjeomdon, a famous meat restaurant at Hwagae Market

We decided to have Jirisan black pork for dinner on the first night of our Hadong trip.
Located at Hwagae Market Seomjingang Hanwoo RestaurantI stopped by.
A phrase stating that the restaurant uses only 'Yukjeomdon' among Jirisan black pigs, and
This is because the green tea cold noodles available for ordering as a dessert caught people's attention.

It is a butcher shop and restaurant that prominently features Hanwoo beef and black pork right from the signboard.
A large sign with a red background is hanging on a two-story brick building.
“The phrase ”1,000 times compensation if not Hanwoo or Black Pork” catches the eye.

The interior is not fancy, but there is a long row of wooden tables.
Two beverage refrigerators stood side by side, creating a self-service system for taking drinks, and,
A TV, a ventilation fan, and a restroom sign modestly filled the space.

If you look at the menu on the wall, there is no separate charge for the black pork table setting.
The structure is such that a table setting fee of 3,000 won per adult is charged only when eating Hanwoo.

The menu also had an unfamiliar name written on it: “Yukjeomdon.”.
It is said to refer to a breed of Jirisan black pig with six white spots.
It is said that this individual appears in only one or two out of 100 pigs, so it is considered a top-grade pig even among black pigs.
I searched but didn't find much information.

I ordered three servings of Jirisan black pork, and the pork neck and pork belly came mixed together on one plate.

Unlike the very thick cuts served in restaurants these days, it is sliced roughly, so it looks fresh again.

From lettuce and perilla leaves to pickled garlic stems, pickled radish, seasoned chives, bean sprouts, kimchi, raw radish salad, and even braised eggs.
The fact that the basic meat restaurant table setting is imbued with the colors of Hadong
Just like at the previous Hyesung Restaurant, bamboo shoots and pickled plums were served here as well.

Because the standards of meat restaurants these days are so high
It is no easy task to pinpoint the unique advantages of the meat at a barbecue restaurant, but
The meat is chewy, giving it a delicious taste with every bite.

The soybean paste stew for dessert is also reasonably tasty.

I had green tea makgeolli purchased from Hanaro Mart with the meal after getting permission for corkage.
It's liquor from Hwagae Hapdong Brewery... it has green tea in it, so it was really bitter.
It didn't suit my taste at all.

On the other hand, a paradise at the same brewery Makgeolli.
This makgeolli could be called the best makgeolli I encountered in Hadong.
Unlike the previous Hwagaejangteo Makgeolli and Green Tea Makgeolli, this is a premium lineup made without sweeteners.
I like that it is clean and the sweetness of the rice feels elegant.

After finishing the meat, I ordered green tea cold noodles for dessert.
I chose this place out of curiosity since Hadong is the home of green tea, and both the noodles and the broth were decent.
It was hard to find the unique flavor of green tea cold noodles, but it was edible and satisfied my curiosity.

I saw people at other tables eating a lot of Hanwoo.
From what I heard, everyone had a good opinion of it.
